Why is the milk at my parents house never rotten?
Why is their bread never stale?
Why is there always something to snack on?
And why is my dorm the complete opposite of this???
Why is their a loose chihuahua running around on the third floor balcony?

Sick.
So I'm for sure known to exaggerate but I am so sick I literally feel like my life is coming to an end. I already failed one news years resolution, went to Urgent Care on Saturday. I have some kind of awful sinus infection/ear infection/flu business and it really sucks! I got two z-packs because one wasn't enough! Thank God I have the most amazing parents in the entire world who rescued me on Friday night and let me stay home and sleep the weekend away, minus the trip to Urgent Care. So what I have learned so far is, the best medicine for any sickness:
GO HOME.
Mom knows best. So please pray I stop feeling like death and stop having coughing attacks in the middle of italian class.

The City, Mold, and School
Okay, so it's been a really busy last few weeks. I have been to New York City and back, gone from wearing Uggs and a scarf to shorts and wife beater, and witnessed the President drive by from my balcony. Oh all in the span of a week by the way.
So New York City.
Amazing, as we all know. Without a doubt one of my most favorite places in the world. I went with a friend for her birthday, stayed in her brother's apartment two blocks away from Times Square, haggled for some knock off designer bags in Chinatown, carried a 51 pound suitcase through a blizzard, and successfully navigated the subway. Basically we shopped till we dropped, ate at amazing local spots, and of course went site seeing. So amazing. 28 degrees with snow and windchill kinda sucked but it was still awesome! I literally have like 500 pictures from this trip alone so I attempted to condense!

central park! it was seriously like a calendar shoot it was so gorgeous there.
Central Park has always been one of my favorite spots in NYC, I just love the contrast of the huge park with all the buildings!!
So many people ice skating!!!
Okay, so the creepy elmo suit dudes like completely mauled me and tried to hug me. Scary!
One of my favorite artists, Roy Lichtenstein.
St. Patrick's Cathedral. I plan on getting married there one day because it is SO beautiful. I love it. Also, there was a Rolls Royce parked out front which I'm gonna take as a sign it was meant to be!
The view from her brother's apartment! Did I mention he is a graphic designer who graduated from U of A? I'm thinking I'm gonna be doing pretty well after graduation.
This was our little group the whole week. Kristina-my fellow Ace worker, me, Schmidty (nickname) and Kristina's brother Carlos. Great group.
Apparently trash was a bit of an issue that weekend lol
How cool is this? Snowing, still some Christmas lights up and walking down 5th Avenue. Heaven!
Okay, so we made it back to Tucson and I have started school, seen Obama drive by my dorm with a caravan of security, had my car sniffed by the bomb squad, and managed to only have one minor blonde moment.
Lesson:
Do not drink juice that has been in your dorm all break long. It will taste funny. And then when you look in the carton you will discover white cloudy mold within.
